Turn buttons are small metal fittings used on the back of frames to allow the frequent changing of pictures within a frame. Un like kit set clips, they are screwed into the frame loosely so that they pivot out of the way instead of bending. This means that they are much more durable than kitset clips.
They are however much slower to attach. And since some frames may need 50 or more fixing points, the process of assembly can become much more time consuming.
They come in several different sizes and are usually in either black or left in unfinished metal.
