What gets calculated. When submitting your work, it is the final presented entity that is judged to be under or over the size & weight thresholds. This means that if you have a work that is just inside these limits & then you get it mounted on something that makes it larger, it will be deemed over size & disqualified.
6 square metres. A mistake that we have seen in the past is the confusion between 6 square metres, & 6 metres square. The diagram below show the difference between the two. If you have further trouble in this matter, contact your maths department.
