Limited materials.
Because of KIT Frame's structure, we can only offer a narrow range of framing possibilities. We can't for example frame needle work or stretch canvas. Some jobs are too labor intensive, such as hand finished frames. And some profiles require too much time to get looking their best, such as some white & heavily moulded shapes.

We will take every instance as it comes and will advise on the feasibility of each individual case.

Orders.
We can & do give quotes over the phone. However, we ask that all final purchasing orders are made in writing, by fax, email, or post.
We only accept orders in millimetres & prefer them to be given in the format of width x height.
And remember the old saying "measure twice, cut once".

All phone quotes are given with as much accuracy as is reasonably possible. If any inconsistency occurs, Kitframe reserves the right to refuse service or adjust price with customer permission.

Payment.
We accept COD payments & on very rare occasions we extend accounts. Some of our clients who want a simplified payment system, will pay us a lump sum up front, & then gradually use up their credit.

We accept, Amex, bank card, cash, cheque, eftpos, mastercard & visa.
We don't accept, diners, bartercard or travelers cheques.

Your responsibilities.
Kit frame only works well with individuals or institutions that have a firm grasp of what they want, & a good idea of how to get it. You must be able to make stylistic decisions on your own & have the aptitude & physical assets to complete the task required.
If you are not sure of what you want, or are new to framing. It is advised that you seek a full service professional framer until you are familiar with the concept of framing & how it could work for you.

Lead time.
In order to give the best possible value we can, we ask for 5 to 10 working days in order to complete a job. This is so that courier costs for materials can be spread over a number of customers, there by lowering the final price.

No U turns.
Once Kit frame has received you order, we will very likely begin ordering for, or making your job. Please don't order before you are sure what you want, as once these steps have been taken they can frequently not be undone.
This means that you may have to pay for something that is not what you want.
And remember to measure your work accurately.
